You can of course always use the live updates below to compare the current temperature in Belfast, Leeds and two places in Antarctica. Even though the Antarctica weather stations are not exactly where we are, it gives an idea of the contast in weather between the UK and Antarctica and the variations within Antarctica. Halley is approximately 75 degrees south and the South Pole 90 degrees south. We are heading to approximately 80 degrees south.
